5 Bail Questions & Answers on “Colorado Springs Bail Bonds

  1. My girlfriend is being held with no bond because apparently her current bondsman doesn’t want to consent to surety, therefore in the system it remains a no bond until her next court date. At her previous court date, the judge was made aware of a previous misunderstanding that landed her in jail this time and proceeded to reinstate her previous bond of $2,000. Being as though her current bondsman won’t consent, does that mean she has to stay in there until her next court date or can the bondsman release her from their agreement and I find a new bondsman making it possible to get her out of there? I also have the minute sheet stating from the judge that the bond is reinstated with a consent form. If her current bondsman won’t consent, can’t they terminate their agreement and we go elsewhere? Is she stuck? Someone please help.

    1. Hi Davey, you should be able to get our of your agreement with the current bondsman. They may be fees involved and you may have to forfeit some of the bail premium paid, but that will depend on the bondsman, their fee structure, and the contract you signed. Please call the Colorado Springs bondsman to determine the best option – try and focus on a win/win approach with the bondsman to get both sides what they want.

  2. I have court at 1:30 and I was told that I have a warrant. I would like to be able to acquire bondsman services however I need to find out what needs to be done. If somebody could give me a call at 719-465-8517 or 435-5034 or comment back.
