4 Bail Questions & Answers on “Colorado Springs Bail Bonds

  1. My girlfriend is being held with no bond because apparently her current bondsman doesn’t want to consent to surety, therefore in the system it remains a no bond until her next court date. At her previous court date, the judge was made aware of a previous misunderstanding that landed her in jail this time and proceeded to reinstate her previous bond of $2,000. Being as though her current bondsman won’t consent, does that mean she has to stay in there until her next court date or can the bondsman release her from their agreement and I find a new bondsman making it possible to get her out of there? I also have the minute sheet stating from the judge that the bond is reinstated with a consent form. If her current bondsman won’t consent, can’t they terminate their agreement and we go elsewhere? Is she stuck? Someone please help.
